Our Apologies.
    Dear Members,

    Perennial Fitness, is closed and will not be reopening. I sincerely apologize for the suddenness of the closure. Believe me, there were tears and sorrow by all of us, as well as you. One of the things we have striven for at Perennial, is getting to know and help people. In the process, sometimes you don’t realize how close you become to people. We are sincerely going to miss you.

    My Staff and I, have truly enjoyed your visits to our facility and have felt that you are more “friends” and “family” than members, or customers. We don’t believe the way you treat friends or family is to close the doors and shut them out, that is why we tried so hard for so long.

    I wish there was another way to have gone about the closure, an abrupt ending is truly not what any of us envisioned. I wish that there would have been time to notify all of you personally, but with such a large number of people and time not allowing, it was not possible.

    Due to reasons - some I am at liberty to discuss, some I am not - the abrupt closure had to occur. I can give you a bit of the background on the decision to close, and feel I owe that to you as friends.

    It is true that Perennial was under negotiations to be acquired by a health club chain. I cannot mention the chain’s name due to restrictions by that particular company. Perennial Fitness will not be selling the facility to them, however it is most likely going to be reopened by them in the future.

    Like I had tried to inform you over the past few months, if that acquisition had occurred it would have been a smooth transition for you, if you decided to remain with the new health club chain. However, conditions turned out to not be favorable for that to happen and discussions had to be discontinued.

    I am truly sorry for the abrupt ending and closure of the Perennial Fitness facility. Myself, and the entire staff, are really going to miss all of you and thank you so very much for allowing us the opportunity to get to know you and assist you in your fitness endeavors. We really hope to see you again, and wish you the best.
