    Q: Do you have treadmills, elliptical trainers, or bikes?
    A: Yes, we do have treadmills, elliptical trainers and bikes. However, we would like you to keep in mind that we also have Circuit Training, and cardio is built into Circuit Training, giving you a more efficient, effective workout. Studies have shown this to be a much more effective way to train than doing just cardio, or separating cardio and resistance training.
    We also have an indoor track. Studies have shown this type of training to be up to 50% more effective than other forms of cardio. 50% more effective, means you spend 50% less time to achieve the same results. It is also much more effective at developing balance and coordination, than other forms of cardio.
    Our track is set up as a cardio circuit, utilizing steps that function much as a treadmill. Like a treadmill program that varies the incline, our steps vary in height. We reconfigure the track every few days to give you a variety. You can adjust the "speed" by varying your cadence.
    When utilizing this type of cardio circuit, you develop balance and coordination, something studies have shown treadmills, elliptical trainers and bicycles can actually diminish. It is also a more intense way to train, since you are moving the body instead of just supporting it while a mechanism, such as a treadmill belt, moves your leg for you. You can also use the provided medicine balls and hand held weights to incorporate asymmetrical loading and further enhance balance, coordination, and create a full body workout. This contributes to a more functional body - and a much higher calorie burn!
